Abstract
A three dimensional puzzle game comprises 13 oblong blocks 9 and one cube 10, the oblong blocks 9 being identical to each other having the dimensions of 1x1x2, where the cube 10 is of 1x1x1 dimensions, i.e. having twice the length in one direction. The two halves of each oblong block 10 are marked differently. The cube is a positional block for the game. In use, the oblong blocks 9are placed around the positional cube 10, the two players taking turns to place blocks 9, such that an overall shape of a 3x3x3 cube is not exceeded, cube 10 defining one unit. The markings are preferably different colours. In use, the players attempt to make a direct line of three of their markings within the overall 3x3x3 cube shape and the cube 10 is always placed in the centre position of the bottom tier with the remaining blocks 9 being placed around it.
Description
Invention: BUILDING BLOCKS This invention relates to a game playable by
two players only.
The game (invention) consists of 13 equally sized blocks and one block which is square and half the size of the other blocks.
Of the 13 blocks they are oblong and one half (square) is one colour and the other half (square) is another colour, thus the oblong consists of2 squares of two colours and looking joined to form an oblong.
The single square block is for positioned purposes, meaning it is placed on a flat surface for play, and the other blocks, (oblong) are placed and positioned around this single block.
The completed shape or form the 13 oblong blocks and the single square block form is an 3D cube. 3 square blocks high, 3 blocks wide and 3 square blocks deep.
Once the square block is placed then the first player places his first block around the positional block, choosing the best position for his chosen colour.
This invention requires a player to make a line of 3 colours of his chosen colour, this can be formed in any direction, horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
You can place a block with one colour sitting on another colour, meaning standing position, or the player can place it flat, meaning the colours are side by side.
If a block has been positioned in a flat position, the other player or the same player can place a block on top of this block in a standing position or on top of the block in the same manner or position. In their turn.
Each player is placeing their block in alternate times, meaning othe players plays his block, then the other player plays his block.
Each player taking their turn and picking from the 13 double coloured blocks, once all the blocks have been played the game is over, whether or regardless a player has made his line o 3 blocks or whether there is no winner.
Claims (6)
1. A 3 dimensional building block invention, comprising of 13 oblong blocks and one square block, all 13 blocks are the same dimensions, being of square origins and haveing 6 sides.
2. There being 13 oblong blocks, in two different colours, one oblong block being made up of two squares and two different colours, and the one square block being a positional block for the game.
3. A building block invention as claimed in 1-2, wherein all these make for a game to play, by making a line of squares the same colour, by taking alternate moves and placing the oblong block around the positional block, and keeping to 3D cube shape 3 squares high, 3 squares deep and 3 squares horizontal,
4. A building block invention comprising of 13 oblong blocks as in 2-3, to play a game making a line of 3 squares the same colour within the 3D cube shape, in any direction including diagonal, as long as line of 3 squares has been been made of the same colour and by alternate moves,
5. A building block game as claimed in 2-3-4 wherein the positional cube or square is placed and is always in the center and on the bottom tier, and subsiquent blocks are placed around this square or on top and only going 3 squares high, 3 squares wide, and 3 squares deep.
6. A three dimensional puzzle game as described herein with references to the accompanying figures.
6. A building block invention as described in reference to figures 1-2 of the accompanying drawings.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1. A three dimensional puzzle game comprising 13 oblong blocks and one cube, the oblong blocks being identical to each other having the dimensions of lxlx2, where the cube is of ixixi dimensions, the two halves of each oblong block being marked differently, the cube being a positional block for the game.
2. A puzzle game as defined in claim 1. Where, in use, the oblong blocks are placed around a positional cube, the two players taking turns to place blocks, such that an overall shape of a 3x3x3 cube is not exceeded, the cube defining one unit.
3. A puzzle game 1 or 2 where the markings are different colours.
4. A puzzle game as defined in any of claims 2 to 3 wherein, in use, the players attempt to make a direct line or three of their markings within the overall cube shape.
5. A puzzle game as defined in any of claims 2 to 4 where the cube is always placed in the centre position of the bottom tier with the remaining blocks being placed around it.
