Abstract

A wristwatch incorporates a personal security alarm with audible and visual alarm means. The audible alarm is in the form of a repeated call for help. The face of the watch illuminates and flashes to give a visual indication of the alarm. A push button (A) is provided to activate the alarm. The audible and visual alarms will continue until deactivated by pressing the same button.

It combines a very eflèctive personal security alarm with special interest to School Children, Students, also Senior Citizens.
The operation of the alarm by the wearer is quite simple, but by design it is difficult to operate it by accident. To the uninitiated (the attacker) it is far from obvious how to disarm the alami.
The watch will cany the logo Emm Call, and will be available in various colours and designs to suite differing age groups.
The Watch will be packaged complete with operating instructions The face will be available in both numerals also LCD design for depicting date and time. 2.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION.
The Watch is designed to function as a normal time piece that will also provide a PERSONAL SECURITY ALARM to the wearer, regardless of the wearers age group.

ACTIVEATION OF THE ALARM
Pressure on button A will activate the audio alarm sounding, HELP HELP HELP------ continuously, at the same time the clock fhce will illuminate and continue flashing until the alarm is deactivated.
DEACTIVATION OF THE ALARM
The alarm can be turned off by again pressing button (A) this will STOP the alarm, also the flashing light.
The pressure required on button A will avoid the alarm being activated accidentally, whilst at the same time allowing the wearer to activate the alarm with relative ease when required The activation and deactivation of the alarm is achieved by making and breaking of contacts within the interior watch circuit design.
There are no detailed indications to the attacker how the alarm can be cancelled.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
The Invention relates to a PERSONAL ALARM WATCH suitable for all age groups.
There are many personal alarms available on the market.
Generally these are bulky by design and inconvenient to use, especially for school children and senior citizens, both who are very vulnerable to attack.
Usually with conventional personal alarms, by the time the alarm has been located in the hand bag, or on the waist band, the attacker has long gone or wose The Emni Call Alarm Watch can be instantly activated and deactivated with very little effort.
This is very important for school children and Senior citizens.
The Emrn Call Alarm Watch can be part of daily fhshion also providing the dual function of a watch whilst giving the protection of a personal alarm. . Lf

  1. CLAIMS (1)
    A personal alarm watch providing protection against attackers by means of a continuous audible alarm requesting HELP HELP HELP also providing a flashing light to attract attention at night (2) The alarm is activated and deactivated by depressing a RED button on the side of the watch (3) The alarm watch will be available in many different designs to suit all age groups. (4)
    The alarm watch will be marketed with the trade mark Emm Call
