Abstract

A matrix of postcodes is printed on an envelope. A sender obliterates the desired code. A further matrix is printed on the envelope to accommodate the full postcode of the destination of the envelope. A device printed on or attached to the envelope facilitates the sorting of it. A device attached to or printed on the envelope allows it to be accepted in only one attitude in a posting box of a specific design.

Description

Scratchback EnveloDe This invention relates to an envelope which has
certain features printed or attached to it enabling it to be sorted initially in the postbox by means of having a device printed or attached to it which allows the postbox to accept the envelope in only one attitude.
A matrix ofpostcodes printed on the envelope allows the sender to obliterate the desired one to which the envelope is being sent.
A further matrix is printed on the envelope to accomodate the full postcode of the destination of the envelope. (1)

  1. Claims 1) An envelope with a matrix of postcodes printed on it in a fixed
    position.
  2. 2) An envelope with a device attached or printed on it which allows itto be accepted in only one attitude in a posting box of specific design.
  3. 3) An envelope with a matrix printed on it to accomodate a postcode (2)
