Abstract

A bait dropping device consists of a main body 16 into which the bait is placed. Into the nose of the device is placed a pivoting dome shaped nose plate 15 which is attached by a cross shaft 14. This shaft may be set on the centre line of the main body or set off centre. The bait dropper is used by an angler to deliver fishing bait to a designated area of water. When it is retrieved on the fishing line, the pivoted plate allows for water to flow through the body of the device, making retrieval easier.

DESCRIPTION
MISSILE OR ROCKET SHAPED BAIT DROPPER
This mventon relates to a missile or rocker shaped bait dropper Bait droppers, commonly known as "spods" or Ball rockets" are used by anglers as a method for delvenng fish bait to a designated area In the water.
A ball dropper (spod/rocket) is attached by the angler to the fishing line It is then filled wall Ihe angler's choice of bait and then cast to the chosen area by the means of a fishing rod It is linen retrieved by the use of the fishing rod and line Bait droppers (spods/rockets) have an inherent problem. when they are retrieved they fill with water.
making retrieval an arduous task.
This is a special type of ball dropper (spod/rocket), whuch has a pivoting dome shaped nose plate.
According to the present Invention a bait dropper (spod/rocket) comprises of a main body with a pivoting dome shaped nose plate which allows water to escape through the main body on retrieval.
A specific embodiment of the Invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawulg.
