Abstract
A wristwatch strap 1 with a pouch 2 fixed to the strap in order to hold information in the form of a tag 3 that can be inserted into the pouch 2. The pouch 2 may be made of transparent or semi-transparent flexible plastics material so that the information on the plastic tag 3 can be easily seen, and the strap 1 may be constructed from plastics, rubber, or similar material. The strap 1 is particularly useful for holding contact information such as a telephone number on a child's wristwatch.

WRISTWATCH STRAP
The invention relates to a child's wristwatch strap which can be used to hold vital contact information.
Wristwatch straps are widely in use and their purpose is to secure the watch around the wrist of the wearer. Children's wristwatches are widely available and the watch straps are usually constructed from plastic or rubber. If a young child gets lost, for example, at a large public gathering, it is vital that his/her parents are contacted at the earliest opportunity. This contact could be made by a responsible adult who finds the child if the child has the relevant contact information on their person, for example, the parents' mobile or home telephone number.
The purpose of the invention is to provide a child's wristwatch strap which allows parents to write contact information such as a mobile or home telephone number.
Accordingly this invention provides a child's wristwatch strap which is constructed from plastic or rubber and contains a built-in, see-through, pouch in which a plastic information tag is kept. The plastic information tag allows parents to write their contact telephone number(s) in biro.
Replacement information tags would be available in case contact details change.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIGURE 1 shows an overhead view of the underside of the wristwatch strap fixed to a child's watch with spring pins (6).
FIGURE 2 shows a side view of the wristwatch strap fixed to the watch.
FIGURE 3 shows an overhead view of the top of the wristwatch strap.
As shown in Figure 1, the pouch (2) is fixed to the buckle part of the wristwatch strap (1) and has a plastic information tag (3) inserted into it. The strap is fixed to the buckle with a spring pin (4).
Figure 2 shows the pouch (2) and the plastic tag (3) from the side view.
The plastic tag is removable so that vital contact information can be written on it and then it can be replaced into the pouch.
The pouch will be made of transparent or semi-transparent, flexible, plastic material so that the information on the plastic tag can be easily seen by a responsible adult once the watch is removed.

As shown In Figure 3, neither the pouch, nor the plastic tag can be seen from the top view of the wristwatch strap. This means that neither the pouch, nor the plastic tag will be visible when the wristwatch is being warn.

Claims (4)
1. A wristwatch strap with a pouch fixed to the strap in order to hold information in the form of a tag that can be inserted into the pouch.
2. A wristwatch strap as claimed in Claim 1 where the pouch is located on the underside of the strap.
3. A wristwatch strap as claimed in Claim 1 where the pouch is located on the topside of the strap
4. A wristwatch strap substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
