Abstract
A combination leaf blower / car dryer attachment nozzle 1 has air flow warming, such as provided by passive friction heating members 6, so as to provide a hot drying function when used to dry cars.
Description
24 1 6676 A drying funnel nozzle which attaches to an electric or petrol
leaf blower. This invention is a labor saving device.
Features include:- A rubberized edge where the air flow dispels to protect surfaces to be dried.
A sleeve to accommodate manufactures of leaf blowers attachments.
Specifically designed top and bottom air deflectors to cause the air flow through the funnel nozzle to deflect in direction, and heat up.
The funnel nozzle works in conjunction with an operating leaf blower and enables the user to blow excesses of water off any surface. The specific design and configuration of the deflectors, deflects the air flow from the leaf blower evenly along the rubberized gap. The deflectors also but mainly cause the airflow to heat up as the air is deflected.
The present invention relates to a funnel nozzle which attaches to a leaf blower, for all makes and types of blower sold world wide..
It is well known that leaf blowers and funnels are available throughout the world, the leaf blowers being used as the manufacturers have named them for blowing leaves. The funnel also in its description is named because it funnels substances.
However, it is not known that to combine a leaf blower and a funnel as described herein by combination an attachment, the two items can be used to blow excesses of water off any surfaces. The drying of any surface is reliant upon heat or absorption by a porous material. The funnel is designed to heat the air passing through it, by the specifically designed and positioned deflectors.
It is the object of the present invention to provide such a system and to provide a combination of the system to all makes and all types of leaf suckers and blowers.
According to the first aspect of the present invention there is provided a funnel nozzle named as such as the funnel shape restricts the air flow of the leaf blower, expelling the air through a small gap on the rubberized edge opposite the leaf blower delivery nozzle. Within the funnel nozzle are top and bottom deflectors which cause the air passing by them to heat up The funnel nozzle is attached to the leaf blower nozzle via a sleeve which accommodates all manufactures of leaf blowers attachments specification.
Preferably this funnel nozzle can make the user be able to blow excess water off painted surfaces, glass, ceramics, vinyl floors, patios and wood decking.
Advantageously this funnel nozzle by its design heats the air which is expelled encouraging surfaces to dry more efficiently.
An embodiment of the present invention will now be more particularly described by way of example and reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIGURE 1 is a perspective view of a funnel detached from a leaf blower nozzle.
The term leaf blower refers to all manufactured products that are specifically designed to either pick up leaves or blow leaves.
There are many manufacturers of such products world wide.
The description given to the funnel nozzle is that the shape restricted the air flow from the leaf blower nozzle by the nature of its funnel shape, also the specifically designed deflectors within the funnel cause the air passing through to heat up. These specifically designed and positioned deflectors are at the top and bottom of the funnel.
FIGURE 1 shows the relationship of the devices apart FIGURE 2 shows the funnel nozzle (1) coupled to the leaf blower nozzle (5), if the leaf blower was blowing air the expelling air can only escape through a small gap on the full length of the rubberized edge (2) The air passing through the funnel nozzle (1) is deflected by the deflectors (6) out to the edges of the funnel nozzle (1), and because of there design shape and configuration, these deflectors cause the air flow through the funnel nozzle (1) to heat up. The deflectors (6) are indentions protruding on the inside of the funnel nozzle..The funnel nozzle (1) attaches to the leaf blower nozzle (5), to overcome variation in sizes of the leaf blower nozzle (5) a sleeve (4) can be inserted into the tube section (3).

Claims (1)
1. A funnel nozzle that is attached to a leaf blower, that warms the air flow that passes through the funnel nozzle by it's design.
2. A system as claimed in 1 which when attached to a working leaf blower, delivers the air generated by the leaf blower via integral deflectors to a small gap on the full length of the rubberized edge of the funnel nomle.
3. A system as claimed in 1 or claim 2 that will blow dry water off painted surfaces, glass, ceramics, vinyl floors, patios and wood decking.
4. A funnel nozzle as described herein with references to the accompanying
drawings and description.
5. A funnel nozzle which can provide an alternative method of drying surfaces other than wiping with porous materials when incorporated with a leaf blower.
7. An essential device to enable a more efficient and labour saving way of drying wet surfaces utilizing a leaf blower machine.
