Abstract

A disposable and transportable seat is formed from a cut or pressed sheet of corrugated material, e.g. cardboard, plastic or fibreglass. The sheet, which is preferably waterproof, comprises a rectangular section 1 which is rolled up to create a supporting column for the seat, and a circular portion 2 which is folded over one end of the column to form the seat. Strap like tabs 3 engage in slots 4 to secure the rectangular section into the seat configuration. The sheet may be tightly rolled up for carrying by securing straps 3 in slots 5. The seat may be used at outdoor events.
