TAPE MEASURE HEAD STRUCTURE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an improvement of a tape measure head by utilizing physical characters of rubber or soft plastic and also processing methods of intruding, covering, adhering, spraying or bonding to have rubber or soft plastic adhered to a head hook, thereby enabling the head hook with anti-slipping, protecting, and cushioning I () functions.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
A conventional tape measure head is riveted to a tape measure, wherein the head is made of metal. When measuring or hooking an object for measurement, the head may slip, due to lack of a frictional surface, or cause damages to a fragile surface, due to the hard metal hook, or cause damages to a connection between the head and the tape measure, due to an impact when retrieving the tape. Thereby, two persons are mostly required when using the conventional tape measure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention comprises a tape measure head and a kind of \ e c attaching material such as rubber, or soft plastic, or soft plastic sheath.
By covering, adhering, spraying, or intruding, material utilized will be adhered to a head hook of the tape measure, thereby enabling the head hook with anti-slipping, protecting, and cushioning characters.
To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
FIG. 1 shows an exploded elevational view according to the present invention.
FIG. 2A and 2B shows two kinds of the applicable forms with rubber or soft sheath according to the present invention.
FIG. 3 shows one preferred embodiment of a processing method according to the present invention.
FIG. 4 shows another preferred embodiment of processing method according to the present invention.
FIG. 5 shows another preferred embodiment of processing method according to the present invention.
FIG. 6 shows another preferred embodiment of processing method c: : according to the present invention.
FIG. 7 shows another preferred embodiment of processing method according to the present invention.
FIG. 8 shows another preferred embodiment of processing method s according to the present invention.
FIG. 9 shows an exploded elevational view of another preferred embodiment according to the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to FIG. 1. The present invention is related to a tape measure head 1, with two rivet holes 11 connecting to a tape measure and with a rubber or a soft plastic sheath 2 adhering to or covering a head hook 12, thereby enabling the tape measure head 1 with anti-slipping, protecting, and cushioning functions.
Referring to FIG. 2. Two forms of rubber or soft plastic sheaths are l S applicable. FIG. 2A shows a sheath with no bottom and FIG. 2B with a bottom.
Referring to FIG. 3. A rubber or soft plastic layer 21 can be pressed or covered directly on the head hook 12.
Referring to FIG. 4. A rubber or soft plastic 22 can be pressed or intruded directly on fixing holes of the head hook 12.
l.
: Referring to FlGs. 5 and 6. A rubber or plastic layer 21 can be adhered to one or two faces of the head hook 12.
Referring to FIG. 7. A rubber or plastic layer 21 can be sprayed on one or two faces of the head hook 12.
s Referring to FIG. 8. A rubber or plastic layer 21 can be covered on the head hook 12 by dipping.
Referring to FIG. 9. The rubber or plastic sheath 2 can be formed with a corrugated face 3 to enhance anti-slippage friction on the head hook 12.
1() It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
