Abstract

A harness and a pair of gauntlets to be worn by a cyclist that holds the cyclist in a stable position on the bicycle allowing the cyclist to exert greater pressure on the pedals of the bicycle for a longer period of time. The harness is positioned around the waist and shoulders of the user and a wire 6 detachably connects the back of the harness to the seat of the bicycle via a hook 7 on the end of the wire. Both the waist 4 and shoulder 3 straps are adjustable. The gauntlets 1 are held on the arm of the cyclist by a pair of buckles 8, on the outside of the gauntlets is a hook 2 that hook onto the handlebars of the bicycle thereby stabilizing the upper part of the cyclist's body. The harness and gauntlets enables the cyclist to use the whole of his/her body weight to exert greater pressure on the pedals of the bicycle whilst reducing the amount of pressure on the cyclists back and arms and the amount of energy used. The harness and gauntlets are made from a combination of polyester and metal.

BICYCLE HARNESS
My intention relates to the attachment to and for the use on a bicycle to obtain greater speed. The "harness" enables the rider to make use ofthe whole of his/her weight and strength when required and saves a great deal of energy.
This attachment is attachable and detachable. Using pressure the rider puts on the pedals is related to the weight ofthe rider's body.
Riders need so much energy for standing on the pedals and bending down as shown in Fig I this position puts so much pressure on the back and arms.
By USiT the 'harness" it supports the upper part ofthe body tang the pressure off the back and arms allowing the rider to stand in this position much longer.
This attachment includes a pair of gauntlets Fig.4 & 5, which hold and stabilizes the upper part ofthe body in the position, which the rider needs to allow the rider to put more pressure through hislher legs on to the pedals.
Harness and gauntlets are made from a combination of polyester and metal materials. 2
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS FIGURES
FIG. 1 Illustrates the bicycle harness strap and gauntlet Used by a rider in the standing position or standing on the pedals and bending from wad and hand up to elbow on the handlebars position FIG.2 shows a rider Dom behind with a harness and 2 gauntlets on FIG.3 shows a rider Mom the front with a harness and 2 gauntlets on FIG.4 shows a gauntlet from the outside, which has a hook FIG.5 Shows a gauntlet from the inside and open.
FIG.6 Shows the bicycle seat from above
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
As shown in Fig. 1 rider is standing on the pedals, his hand and wrist are on the handlebars; it shows the position of the gauntlet 1 and how its hook 2 is attached to the handlebar.
As it is shown in Fig.5 each gauntlet has a pair of buckles 8, which helps to fLx its size for putting it on, and taking it on Gauntlets give riders ability to hold him at the level he needs and puts more pressure on the pedals.
As shown in Fig.1, 2 and 3 strap 4 lace a belt goes on waist and buckles on the front, but it has a ring 5 on the back in the middle and other straps 3 go on shoulders and all 3 straps join together as it is shown in Fig 2 and the ring 5 is connected to a wire 6 (rigging wire) and other end of wire is a hookwhich attaches to the seat as it is shown in Fig. 1
