Abstract

An undergarment with breast cups 2 which is suitable for wearing beneath a low-cut dress or the like without the cup-connecting means being visible comprises a framework 4, e.g. of metal or plastics which is located at a lower heart position, e.g. in a U or V shape. The framework may be wrapped in fabric and sewn to the lower heart portion 3 of the garment.

UNDERGARMENT WITH LINKING AND BRACING DEVICE

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to dress accessories and ladies underwear. In particular it relates to an undergarment with a linking and bracing device.

BACKGROUND OF THE TECHNOLOGY

To accomplish its functions, ladies' undergarments such as as corsets, jumpsuits or bodices with bra cups are designed with a linking section between the right and left bra cups (conventionally known as the "heart"). Based on existing technology, the heart section is generally made of fabrics or linking buckles and located between the bra cup centreline and lower edge. When a lady wears a low cut blouse, the heart section in underwear such as a corset will show up, which affects dress effect and aesthetic effect.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:

The objective of the present invention is to provide an undergarment with a linking and bracing device that is not visible below a low cut blouse, eliminate the drawbacks of conventional underwear and improve dress effect.

According to the invention, there is provided an undergarment with a linking and bracing device which comprises underwear fabric and bra cups, wherein a linking section is provided at a lower heart position of the undergarment to brace the bra cups.

The linking framework may have a "V" shape or a "U" shape.

Linking holes may be provided at the linking end of the said linking framework; the said linking holes linking the lower edge of the bra cups and linking the lower end of the linking framework and underwear together.

The said linking framework may be sewed to the lower heart section of the underwear and used to brace the lower edge of bra cups.

The said linking framework may be wrapped in fabric layer, which is located at the lower heart section of the underwear and used to brace bra cups.

The said linking framework may be made of metal or plastics.

The said underwear may be a corset or bodice.

The present invention may lower the linking section to the upper abdomen of the wearer; improve the functions of underwear, such as a corset, of bracing, protecting and beautifying ladies' breasts; enable ladies to comfortably wear clothing such as low cut dresses, open-collar T-shirts and midriff evening dresses. As a result, it achieves the visual effect that no underwear is worn, and has the functions of conventional underwear of bracing and protecting ladies' breasts.

DESCRIPTION OF SPECIFIC EMBODIMENTS:

A detailed description of specific embodiments of the present invention with reference to Fig. 1 and 2 is given below: Figure 1 illustrates an item of underwear in accordance with an embodiment of the invention.

In this embodiment, the said undergarment (1) is a corset. A linking framework (4) used to brace bra cups (2) is provided at the lower heart position (3) of the said undergarment (1). The said linking framework (4) in this embodiment is formed in a "V" shape and is made of metal. The said linking framework (4) is wrapped in a fabric layer and the said fabric layer is sewed to the lower heart section (3) of the undergarment and used to brace the lower edge of the bra cups (2) and to link the right and left bra cups, and is linked with underwear fabrics via the lower section of the linking framework (4). In this way, it may fix and brace bra cups at the upper abdomen of the wearer. Alternatively, the said linking framework (4) may be directly sewed to the lower heart section (3) of the underwear to brace the lower edge of bra cups without being wrapped in fabric layer. The upper end of the "V" framework can be linked with bra cups (2) via a rotary sewing method. This structure can ensure that the upper section of the metal framework can always fit the body when the wearer stoops down or conducts other limb movements, ensures bra cups achieve intimate protection effect, and ensures the lower section moves along with resilient fabrics and that the dresser will not experience any sense of being pressed against by hard objects.

Figure 2 illustrates an item of underwear in accordance with another embodiment of the invention.

In this embodiment, the said undergarment (5) is a bodice, the linking framework (7) is formed in a "U" shape and linking holes (6) are provided at the linking end of the said "U" linking framework (7). The said linking holes (6) link the lower edge of the bra cups (2), and link the lower end of the said "U" linking framework (7) and underwear into an entirety. In this embodiment, the said "U" framework (7) is made of plastics.

Other sections of this embodiment are the same as those of embodiment 1.

Claims

CLAIMS: 1. An undergarment with linking and bracing device which comprises

underwear fabric and bra cups, wherein a linking framework is provided at a lower heart position of the undergarment to brace the bra cups.
2. An undergarment according to Claim 1, wherein the said linking framework has a "V" shape or "U" shape.
3. An undergarment according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, wherein linking holes are provided at the linking end of the said linking framework; the said linking holes linking the lower edge of the bra cups, and linking the lower end of the said linking framework and undergarment together.
4. An undergarment according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, wherein the said linking framework is sewed to the lower heart position of the said undergarment to brace the lower edge of bra cups.
5. An undergarment according to Claim I or Claim 2, wherein the said linking framework is wrapped in a fabric layer and the said fabric layer is sewed to the lower section of the undergarment to brace the lower edge of the bra cups.
6. An undergarment according to Claim 1, wherein the said linking framework is made of metal or plastics.
7. An undergarment according to Claim 1, wherein the said undergarment is a corset or bodice.
