Abstract
A system of lighting comprises an array of individual battery powered lights. Each light includes a clip 3 for placement. The clip may be unscrewed from the main casing 1 for replacement of batteries. An infra-red receiver 5 in each light controls function of the light. Control signals are sent by transmitter 4 using control switch 6. The lights may have various lighting sequences, and may be recharged by placing in a special charger unit. The decorative lights can be used for inside and outside displays.
Description
Infra-red controlled battery powered light This invention relates to a
decorative light Decoration lights are widely used for displays for all occasions inside and outside. These lights are all operated by means of power delivered by electricity through a circuit of wires and connected through a mains adaptor or circuit breaker for voltage purposes.
These type of lights can be very unrealiable for repeated use. If these lights are not cared for properly then the risk of malfunction increases. As for wiring these wires can overload and cause accidents and also create problems on displaying of said lights by means of hiding wires on displays According to present invention these are self contained. Each light bulb is inserted to a plastic caseing. The bottom of caseing releases to allow insertion and replacement of battery. A clip with various mountings can be attached to bottom of caseing to allow for placement of these to various fixings. An infra-red reciever is situated within caseing, this allows for the switching on and off of light by the use of an infra-red remote Each light can be placed inside or outside for lighting display and decoration.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with the reference to the accompanying drawing in which Fig I shows in perspective with the caseing the light, battery and mounting in position Fig 2 illustrates the separation of mount fixing from caseing for insertion of battery Fig 3 shows infra-red remote control box and operating switch Referring to drawing the infra-red controlled battery powered light comprises of plastic caseing 1, light bulb 2, fixture grip 3, infra-red transmitter 4, infra-red reciever 5, transmitter control switch 6, battery access 7.
Claims (2)
- Claims In order to operate a battery is placed within fixture grip 3.To do this unscrew fixture grip 3 and insert battery 7 Screw fixture grip 3 back into plastic caseing 1 as illustrated in Fig 1 and Fig
- 2.An infra-red reciever 5 is placed within caseing l. Light bulb 2 is inserted within caseing 1 The light is operated by infra-red transmitter 4 and switched on and off by using transmitter control switch 6. Each light is the attached to fixtures useing fixture grip 3 The light may have various lighting sequences and option of recharging battery by placing caseing into charger unit to recharge (not shown)
