Abstract

A heated handle for a hand tool such as a trowel, garden fork or claw hammer is described. The handle may be made of rubber or plastic, with a wire element running though it, the wire element being connected to a thermistor which may be powered by a rechargeable battery. The element may be thermostatically controlled.

Description

The invention is a Rechargeable thermostatically heated handle grip, to be
applied to any hand tool within the working environment be it construction or gardening for instance.
Hand tools as we aware are used widely and in many different fashions across the country every day However one concern of mine and of other peoples is "KEEPING YOUR HANI)S WARM WHILST WOR1(TNG IN THE WINTER OR COLD STORAGE".
Gloves are an option but we lose the feel of our tools and reduce our control.
My Invention provides a Thermo Handle Grip, comprising of body be it a Bricklayers Trowel,Claw Hammer, Gardening Trowel/Fork ECT. i' . The Handle Grips for these toolstwill be made up from Rubber/Plastic with a wire element running through it.
Connected to this element will be a Thermister/Resister, powered from a rechargeable Nicle Cadium bakery.
The power cell will be sealed in resin within the handle of the tools, accompanied with a small on/off isolator in the but end of the handle, witch will be concave for protection.
The embodiment of the tool/tools will now be shown by way of drawings of witch Fig. I showing the way in witch the element will track vertically through the grip Fig.2 showing a section through the handle of the tool, looking at the cavity where the power source will live, and the wire of the element within the Grip.
Fig.3 Provides an Image of the on /off switch in its Concave mounting In the bun of the handle. And where the charger will be plugged in.
Note- The Thermistor Is a Resister witch activates on temperature influence'. ' '' Using the control of the grip Is simple, Turn it on at the base of the tool and the Gnp will regulate a constant body temperature T believe the use of a Thermotool will reduce fatigue in operatives during winter and improve safety in the work place /
