Abstract

The rule includes an end piece with a fixing plate 11, an inserting plate 12, and a squeeze mechanism 2. The mechanism is rotatable via pivot rivet 17 to allow a hooking plate to rotate 180 degrees. The plate 12 is perpendicular to the fixing plate and includes arc-shaped side edges with a hollow stop 16 on the surface of each. A rivet hole 15 is for holding the rivet. A front clamping plate 3 and a rear clamping plate 4 clamp a central mounting plate 5 together to form the perpendicular hooking plate for the rule. The plates include holes 31 and 50, and a buckle clip 51 with flexible ears 52 and 53. The ears locate in the hollow stops 16 of the inserting plate.
