Abstract

A handsaw when hung from a triangular hole in the blade has a second triangular hole nearer a handle enabling the vertical to be marked. This enables the handsaw to be used as a plumb-line.

The object is to extend the use of the saw to include its use as a plumb line.
A prefaced embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to Figure 1.
The design has a triangular hole at the top of the saw blade by which it can be hung vertically, and a second reverse triangle near the handle through which one can mark the vertical.
The triangle nearest the handle to be half an inch clear of the handle so it can be changed if the saw is sharpened. #
