Abstract

A straight edge guide device comprises of a straight edge (a) for guidance when using readily available tools (e) to enable accurate cutting of various materials, and has removable clamps (b) to enable hands free utilisation of the tool. It enables an even pressure to be dispersed over said materials and also comprises a spirit level (c) to facilitate accurate horizontal and vertical fixings and is marked with imperial and metric measurements (d). A Multi Task Straight Edge tool is designed to enable individuals to have an easier and more accurate method of cutting materials in the home or at work this should be achieved with the tool, which is for use with various available tools in conjunction with building and household materials.

<p>Written Description</p>
<p>Multi Task Straight Edge The Multi Task Straight Edge is essentially a straight edge (a) for culling lengths of various materials, e.g. wood, mdf, plastics etc. with the added advantage of having clamps (b) integrated for hands free culling and levelling.</p>
<p>The Multi Task Straight Edge can be used as a spirit level (c) for walls, brick, dividing; posts, floors, tiling etc. The Multi Task Straight Edge puts an even pressure on materials needing to be screwed, glued pinned etc. The Multi Task Straight Edge is made so that it can be used independently or by removing the end caps (f) conventional G Clamps can hold it in place.</p>
<p>The Multi Task Straight Edge enables hands-free levelling and produces a straight cut every time.</p>
<p>The Multi Task Straight Edge can also be used as a measuring rule when necessary, with metric and imperial markings (d) The Multi Task Straight Edge can be used in conjunction with various tools (e), e.g. Router, Skill Saw, and Jig Saw etc.</p>

  1. <p>CLAIMS</p>
    <p>A Multi Task Straight Edge tool is for use with various available tools in conjunction with building and household materials and comprises of a straight edge for guidance when using said tools to enable accurate cutting of said materials, a Multi Task Straight Edge tool also comprises of removable g clamps which are integrated into the straight edge permitting the user to slide the clamps into the desired position enabling hands free utilisation of the tool and also allows an even pressure to be dispersed over said materials, a Multi Task Straight Edge tool also comprises a spirit level to facilitate accurate horizontal and vertical fixings, a Multi Task Straight Edge tool also comprises imperial and metric measurements. * S. * S *</p>
