Abstract

A skateboard sling comprising of a single complete circle of elastic material, the sling having a double strap. The sling is adapted to engage a skateboard in the region of the double strap and is grasped and pulled by a skateboard rider in the region opposite to the double strap in order to maintain the skateboard under the riders feet while performing tricks.

Description

1- 2403424 Skateboard Balancing Aid.
The invention relates to an aid for balance and free movement to help perform tricks on a skateboard.
As some people know standing up on a skateboard is hard enough, moving while on one, is harder still, and tricks nearly impossible. Imagine a skateboard under your feet being held when necessary to your feet by an elastic sling controlled by your own hands.
This invention is to provide all those who have tried desperately to improve their skill on a skateboard or just enjoy their skateboarding without it running away from under their feet every few seconds. It enables people to do tricks they thought they would never do without ending up in a crumpled heap on the floor.
This will help people of all ages, sizes enjoy skateboarding, and even renew some the enthusiasm of those who have given up.

Claims (1)

1. An elastic sling, one complete circle with a double strap at said bottom.
2. A sling as of claim 1 made of different lengths, widths, strengths and sizes.
3. A sling as of claims 1+2 made from any material with elastic properties.

1. A skateboard balancing aid comprising of a sling formed from a continuous loop of elastic material, the loop having a region that is split in two spaced apart straps for engagement with skateboard in use, wherein the region of the loop opposite the spaced apart straps is adapted to be grasped by the hand of the skateboard rider.
