Abstract

A sanitary and transpirable food product packaging (1) comprises a receptacle (2) having walls constructed from a laminar material and has at least one opening (3) for inserting the product. Once inserted the receptacle (2) is sealed with a means, preferably heat sealing (4), which prevents later reopening. The receptacle is further provided with at least one perforated line (5) for the tearing thereof, and removal of product. The receptacle (2) is characterised in that it incorporates aeration holes (9), to allow the food product to transpire. Preferably the receptacle (2) incorporates a zone (7) with boxes (8) for recording data such as the expiry date, contents, etc.

Description

SANITARY AND TRANSPIRABLE FOOD PRODUCT PACKAGING
DESCRIPTION
Object of the Invention The present invention refers to a sanitary and transpirable food product packaging.
Background of the Invention
The delivery of food to homes is currently carried out in packages or containers which do not provide the suitable sanitary guarantees, since these packages or containers are l0 not tamperproof, and the contents thereof can be unduly manipulated and contaminated during transport, moreover when in the same delivery of several orders, there are packages during the successive deliveries that are left unguarded.
For the purpose of correcting this drawback, the applicant is the proprietor of Spanish Utility Model number 200201660, referring to a sanitary food product packaging, which has been granted and is in force.
This existing Utility Model discloses a packaging comprising a receptacle with walls of a laminar material with at least one opening for introducing the merchandise, closed by means which cannot be opened later, and incorporating at least one perforated line for the tearing thereof and removal of the contents at the time of consumption, the means which cannot be opened consisting by way of example of a heat sealing and/or bonding, or a constricting crease with heat sealing and/or bonding.
Although having corrected the drawback set forth, this packaging can be improved because it is not possible for the food to transpire with said packaging, affecting its conditions at the time of consumption.
Description of the Invention
The packaging of the invention proposes an improvement making it possible for the food to transpire, improving consumption conditions thereof.
According to the invention, the packaging is constituted of a receptacle formed by walls of a laminar material, ideally a flexible material, such as cardboard, plastic, paper, etc., intended for containing the foods, beverages, etc., making up all or part of the order of a customer.
The receptacle has at least one opening for introducing the merchandise, which can by closed by means which later cannot be opened, such that the undue opening of this closure ls necessarily carried out by means of a breaking detectable by the customer. This closure will ideally be by means of heat 1() sealing, bonding, etc. The packaging has perforated lines facilitating the tearing thereof for the client to open it once the delivery has been carried out.
Likewise, the packaging incorporates a zone in a visible area for recording data such as the preparation date, delivery date, contents, etc. The customer can thus detect whether the packaging has been unduly opened and, in that case, reject the contents thereof, increasing the trust of the customer and health guarantees.
The improvement proposed by the invention consists of the incorporation of ventilation holes of a suitable size and number on the perimeter of the receptacle which provide optimal internal aeration, enabling transpiration of the food, whereupon its properties are not affected at the time of consumption.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Figure l shows a view of the packaging of the invention, its opening for introducing the merchandise being open.
Figure 2 shows a view of the packaging of the invention, its opening for introducing the merchandise being closed by means of heat sealing.
Descrlption of a Preferred Embodiment of the Invention The packaging l of the invention is constituted of a receptacle 2 of a flexible laminar material, such as paper, i cardboard, plastic, etc., of completely closed walls, with the exception of at least one opening 3 where the merchandise is introduced, having previously been packaged in its respective containers.
[he opening 3 is closed by means of heat sealing 4 or by means of its own cover, not shown, or by means of a creasing, not shown, constricting its passage, heat sealing also being carried out in these last two cases.
The packaging likewise incorporates at least one - perforated line 5 which, by means of the tearing thereof, allows accessing the contents. The tearing can be carried out, for example, by directly pulling on the adjacent portions 6 of the perforated line.
The packaging can likewise incorporate a zone 7 with boxes 8 for recording data such as the expiry date, preparation date, quality, contents, time of departure, time of arrival, etc. Holes 9 are made on the perimeter of the packaging which allow optimal internal aeration and transpiration of the food.
The consumer thus has absolute guarantees that the contents of the packaging have not been manipulated since the very moment of preparation, as well as guarantees with regard to the time elapsed since the latter, and that the food has suitably transpired, which increases the trust and satisfaction of the consumer.
Having sufficiently described the nature of the invention as well as the manner of carrying it out in practice, it must be stated that the arrangements indicated above and shown in the attached drawings are susceptible to t modifications of detail provided that these do not alter the fundamental principle.
