Abstract

A bag (Fig 1) containing a light that has a safety pin catch (Fig 4) to the side of it. It is pinned to the inside of the bag. It is an LED light (Fig 2) of low voltage built within a Perspex box (Fig 3) and will be operated by a (Fig 5) battery and has a circuit breaker which will come on when the bag is opened.

BAG LlGHr Small bulb in a Perspex case which comes on when bag is opened
to enable seeing into the bag easily especially in dark places, like Night Clubs, Disco's etc Light is placed in the bag attached by means of a safety clip and works on the contact breaking.
THE OPERATION OF TO LIGHT
I) The light is placed in the handbag at various points to suit the customer.
2) When the on button is depressed a connection is made. The chip within me diode knows you have pressed the button and signals the light to come on.
3) The LED is set within a Perspex casing and will emit enough light to illuminate the bag,, but will not overheat.
4) .The LED is very low voltage, and will operate by the movement of electrons and is long lasting.
5) The current is produced by the diode having a section of 'N' type material, bonded to a 'P' hype material with electrodes on each end..

Claims (4)

  1. I The light in the handbag will help people find keys, credit cards etc. in the dark or dimly lit places i.e. night-clubs.
  2. 2 It will be a good aid for workmen (Plumbers, electricians, and motor mechanics to find tools In their work bags.
  3. 3 The light is specifically designed to aid women to find things in their handbags where key usually drop to the bottom of the bag and can never be found especially in a hurry.
  4. 4 All vital services (Police, fire brigade, ambulance etc.,) could find the light useful in their tool bags
