Abstract

A loading aid comprises a long plastic sheet 6 housed in a roller 4, the sheet having handles 5 at both ends and the roller 4 being attached to a means of transport by means of a clamp 3. The sheet 6 may have wooden ends 9 which incorporate the handles 5 and the loading aid may be housed in the metal casing of a roller system. The aid may be made of metal, wood or plastic or a combination of these materials. The aid may be used for loading horses into horseboxes or trailers.

Loader This invention relate to an aid in order to encourage Horses/Ponies and such like animals to load onto Horse lorries and Trailers, It is light and durable, easy to store on transport for convenience.

There are certain items on the market to help in the loading of such animals in the form of head collars but nothing that is like my invention which can work well with other aids or on its own. Some animals can be purely stubborn and sometimes a gate has been used in order to encourage the horse on, however, it is difficult to carry a gate around.

The object of my invention is to provide would be handler 's of difficult or stubborn animals a safe and easy alternative to their successful loading.

Accordingly, this invention provides a plastic sheet on a roller system including handles both ends and also a fixing clamp in order for it to be attached to transport for that purpose.

Preferably the invention will be made of a strong plastic sheeting of a solid colour, namely Black with wooden ends with indented handle areas, the rolling case in which it stores will be made of a metal as will the fixing poles and clamps, or a combination of these materials.

Claims

Pg 3 Claims 1. A loading aid that provides a strong plastic sheeting

housed by a roller system Including handles both ends and a fixing clamp to be attached to Transport for that purpose.
2. A loading aid as claimed in claim I has a wooden ends incorporating a pair of handles for the use of handlers.
3. A loading aid as in claims i/z will be housed in a type of metal casing on a roller system for easy storage/usage.
4. A loading aid as in claims 1/2/3 will have the fixing post and clamp made in types of metal.
5. A loading aid as in claims 1/2/3/4 will be made of metals wood and plastic or a combination of these materials.
6. A loading aid substantially as herein described above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
