Abstract

A garment hanger comprises a fixed or interchangeable face plate 8 which changes appearance when a garment is placed on the movably mounted arms 3 of the hanger. The face may change, for example, from being a sad face to a happy face, or from being asleep to being awake. When a garment is placed on the hanger, the arms 3 move downwardly which in turn causes an eye and mouth plate 5 to move. The eye and mouth plate 5 is viewed through apertures 9,10 on the face plate 8. The face plate may be mounted to the hanger by retention clips 7. Placing a garment on the hanger may also activate a voice recording. The face may take the appearance of a human, a toy or an animal. Changing the appearance of the face encourages children to hang up their clothes.

Description

Children's Novelty Coat-hanger The invention relates to a children's coat-
hanger with a face that changes and possible voice activation of a known design when a garment is placed on it.
A spring under the hanger is compressed when garment is placed on hanger and when garment is removed returns hanger to its original position An object of the hanger is to encourage children to hang up their cloths and provide a enjoyment when doing so.
The face maybe interchangable thus enabling any type of face to be fitted i.e. toys, persons or animals The hanger is preferably made of metal and plastic for ease of manufacture A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings Figure 1.   1. Claims 1. A novelty children's coat-hanger with fixed or interchangable
    faces
  2. 2. As claim 1. children's coat- hanger that face changes when garment is placed on it
  3. 3. As claim 1 and 2 hanger moves in a downward direction with weight of garment eye and face plate fixed to hanger changes when viewed through eye and mouth aperture.
  4. 4. As claim 2 and 3 face changes awake/asleep - asleep/ awake, sad /happyhappy /sad
  5. 5. As claim 3 and 4 face may be fixed or interchangable
  6. 6. As claim 4 and 5 on movement of hanger there could be voice activation of known voice design
  7. 7. As claim 5 and 6 faces maybe of persons, toys or animals
