Abstract

A clamping device comprises two opposed screw bolts for gripping an article between them. Preferably the clamp also includes a "U"-shaped opening for receiving the bar of a sash clamp, whereby the clamping device may be fixed in position on the bar of the sash clamp by use of a pin.

Description

Description of the DEVICE.
The device is a clamping arrangement used in conduction with a standard Sash Cramp. The object of a linear cramp is to secure two pieces of material at right angels to facilitate gluing or fixing by various methods.
The length of the materials to be clamped together is limited by the length of cramp available, either by standard length or with the use of extensions By replacing the loose end of the cramp with,evice' will allow material of an undetermined length to be secured by usia relatively short cramp

Claims (3)

  1. I A Clamp with two horizontally opposed adjustable pins of any suitable method of fixing, here illustrated as two screw bolts,
  2. 2 A Clamp as claimed in claim 1 an access point on the top of the clamp for fixing to lined clamp, illustrated here as a slot.
  3. 3 A clamp as claimed in 2 a location point for securing the clamp with a pin when fitted to a lines clamp and illustrated by the accompanying drawings
