Abstract

239,682. Parr, R. April 9, 1925. Chimney tops. - A chimney cowl comprises a stem 1, a conical hood 2 mounted thereon, and a baffle 3 suspended from a strut 4 in the hood 2 by means of a rod 7 having an enlarged head 6. The rod 7 passes loosely through a hole in the strut 4 so as allow the baffle 3 to be swung laterally. A reflector plate 5, which may be fluted, is mounted on the stem 1 below the hood 2. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16983/06 and 8998/14.
