Abstract

A builder's pointing board comprising an oblong rectangular board with a handle affixed to the centre of the board, on the surface which, in use, would be the underside. One long edge of the board is chamfered to an angle of 45 degrees. This edge is the edge which is presented to the brick work course during the pointing process. The opposite edge of the board is thickened with a square box section along its whole length which gives the board its strength.

I' I., a. 4.. 1 _ the general way that the builder would do pointing is by a trail they would then apply mortar into the recess between the two bricks which the majority of mortar would be on the face of the brick then you would have to wait till the mortar had dried then you would use a long stick to cut the mortar to a straight line and you will still leave Staines on the face of the bricks the point master is a tool to improve your pointing for the general builders it is an easy way to do pointing it will save you time and you will be able to do your pointing much more professional manner because pointing is a very time consuming thing to do your pointing have to be neat and tidy so there is no mortar smeared onto the brickwork the Point Master is the tool which well stop all the mess and you'll be able to control the amount of mortar you wish to put into the recess area so when you have finished filling the recess airier it will leave it neat and tidy

   board the length of the board 460m and the widthl40m with a 45 degree angle on the front edge of the complete length of the board with a square box section at the rear which is also the length of the board with a handle underneath the cer.tre of the board 2) the 45 degree angle claimed in claim 1 is a special feature which allows the front edge to be very sharp allowing you to get tight to the brick work which you are pointing also a sharp edge will leave a perfect straight line of pointing 3) the square box section at the rear claimed in claim 1 is a special feature which gives the board its strength and allows the rest of the board to be thin which will make the board very light 4) the board would have to be made of plastic the reason why because of light weight and the 45 degree Burgle claimed in claim 1 you can re sharpen at any time
