Abstract

A rocket warhead comprises a plurality of cartridges containing bullets. The cartridges are moved into firing positions and fired while the warhead is suspended from a parachute.

Description

Pa 1 A ROCKET WILL TAKE THE INVENTION TO THE HEIGHT NEEDED TO
OPERATE. HEAT AT THE END OF ITS FLIGHT WILL SET OFF SLOW
DELAYED FUSE FOR THE INCINERATOR AND WILL ALSO SWITCH ON THE
BATTERY OPERATED PROPELLANT WHICH WILL BLOW OFF THE CAP. THE
CAP PULLS OUT THE PARACHUTE AND SIMULTANEOUSLY RELEASES THE
CARTRIDGES. THE STRONG SPRINGS TAKE THE CARTRIDGES DOWN TO
30DEGREES WHICH IS THEIR OPERATIONAL POSITION. THE
ADJUSTABLE SCREW MAKES CONTACT WITH THE LIVE BAND WHICH
AUTOMATICALLY IGNITES THE FIRING CAPS WHICH IN TURN FIRES
THE BULLETS. THE PARACHUTE STEADIES THE UNIT IN POSITION
WHILE THE BULLETS ARE FIRING. THE SPREAD OF DESTRUCTION
WOULD BE DETERMINED BY THE OPERATIONAL HEIGHT OF THE DEVICE.
