Abstract

A plastic tie has one or more straps 2 in the form of a conventional cable ties and an attachment portion 1 that allows the tie to be secured in position. The attachment portion may have screw holes or may be secured by an adhesive pad. The tie could be provided in various sizes to secure different sizes and shapes of pipes, tubes or cables.

Description

- 1 ADJUSTABLE CLIP
This invention relates to an adjustable clip.
There are many different makes of pipes, tubes, cables and the like, which need to be fixed in position and which require the purchase of specifically sized clips.
According to the present invention there is provided an adjustable dip which is suitable for fixing in position a variety of shapes and sizes of pipes, tubes, cables and the like.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now b* described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: FIGURE 1 shows the one-piece body of the clip.
Referring to the drawing the adjustable clip as shown in Fig 1, comprises of a one-piece body 1, made of a suitable plastic type material and with one or more straps 2, being held timely when passed around a pipe or cable and pulled through the eyelets 3, of known design.
The dip could be feed in position with screws through the hole(s) provided, by the use of adhesive pads or by Velcro strips.
The clip could be made in continuous lengths to be cut and used as required and made in various classes of material to hold light, medium or heavy weight items.

Claims (3)

  1. -2 CLMS 1 An adjustable clip which can be screwed or glued in position and
    which with one or more straps of known design, can firmly hold pipes, tubes and cables etc of a variety of shapes and sizes.
  2. 2 An adjustable clip as claim 1, which would be manufacture in suitable continuous lengths, to be cut down as required.
  3. 3 An adjustable clip as claimed in any preceding claim, which when manufactured in various gauges (thickness) of a suitable material, would hold light, medium or heavy weight items.
