Abstract

A platform lift capable of adjustment to a plurality of heights includes a base with at least four wheels, an interconnecting scissor-like extendable structure and a platform. Mechanical or hydraulic components may be employed to act upon the scissor-like structure in order to raise or lower the platform.

- As shown in sheet 1/1 the scafold can be ajusted. hightwise because off the scissors it alaws for Figer 1 shows the base the base is made so if neccesery it couth be made so it will fold so it can be carried into areas where are to small for similar lifts Figer 2 shows the platform this should be made so it is remofable from the base. item 3 is the ladder onto the platform item 10 is the hand rail wich should also be removable Items 4,5, is the oil pump and electric moter item I I is the oil reserve tank it should be made so it can be removd so that the base can be folded for moveing Item 6 are the stol:alisers wich are made so that they fold out of the way

( Item 10 the hand rail could be made so that they can be removed or Folded on top of the platform, Deepending on the size of the base ie 1200 x 1000 the scaffold could be made so it could be turned on its side and the wheels item 8 could be fitted on the scaffolds side, On bigger scaffolds the scaffold wold have to be disasembled into mor e sections item 12, cold be made by fitting the jiaints with removable pins, It cold also be removed at points 13,14, The boards item 16 on platform Fig 2; could be removed The highs that the scoffold could got to depends on the width of the base i e It should not go up more than 3 tle minimum widtl,

Item 7 are part of the base frame this should be made so that is can be catered and go to small places item 8 are the wheels which should be ajustable for uneven ground Item 9 are the stobaliser ajusters The whole scoff;lb should be made so it can be dismantled and asambled quite Basely fo' people oil site. so it can he useci in areas \vhe'e normal scoffold OT steps may not be safe, and other items in the way
