Abstract
A garment trolley includes a tubular stand,(3) a three-legged weighted base (6) on 360 casters (3 number) (7), and three or more garment collapsible supports (1), one collapsible customer clothes support (8) and a handgrip (2). The trolley includes a collapsible garment holder that may resemble half an inverted umbrella (5), and locking ring for collapsible garment holder (4). Peferably the garment supports will be located in various positions along the tubular stand and the customer garment holder may comprise of a hook. Preferably the garment holder may be attached to a wheelchair by an articulated clip (5).

BIER TROLLEY
The invention is of a moving trolley that includes garment supports to accommodate clothes hangers, these are collapsible for ease of stowage when not in use. Mounted on a self-suppordag freestanding-wheeled structure for easy movement around stores. The supports are at different heights to accommodate different lengths of gannents i.e. dress, jacket and skirts. A hook is included which could be used for customers own coats or jackets should they win to remove them whilst in store in order to shop in greater comfort. In addition this would keep their garments crease free and would also be especially useful in accommodating child's coats, since they frequently wish to remove them when in store.
A basket is featured for smdler garments such as socks, k[uckers etc. and this is collapsible for storage. Conventional Volleys available in clothing stores are awlcwd to use since He floor layout is rarely designed to accommodate their use as in a normal supermarket. Similarly the baskets provided are too small and since clothes shopping is normally an extended activity they can become uncomfortably heavy. Bow trolleys and baskets are prone to becoming snagged on displayed gannents, which is damaging to the stock and annoyingly inconvenient to the shopper.
Furthermore baskets are difficult to catty for those with young children and are too heavy and awkward for the elderly and/or disabled to use. Garments can/will get greased by using the trolleys or baskets and doer people off from saying them.
The object of this invention is to provide a clothes trolley: À that allows easy movement around a store À keeps clothes non-creased and looldog good, especially important if they are ultimately not purchased and have to go back onto a display rack.
e can be easily moved in and out of changing rooms À with a convement basket on the trolley to hold smaller items.
À have collapsible gannent supports À conveniently store customers own coats/jackets À that can be securely via a articulated clip to a pram, pushchair or wheelchair, as shown in drawing 1/1, which you cannot do with the conventional trolley.
The trolley could be manufactured in metal orplashcs or be a composite.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: DRAWING 1/1 - FIGURE 1 is an elevation ofthe whole trolley DRAWING 1/2 - FIGURE 2 is a plan view of the trolley DRAWING 1/2 - FIGURE 3 is a plan view showing the base alone
(a As shown in Figure 1, the trolley comprises a three-legged base (6), incorporating weights for stability. This is mounted upon 3 No. 3609 castors (7).
Into the base slots a tubular stand (3). At the base of the stand is a collapsible fabric container (5), this resembles one half of an inverted wnbrella and when not in use is secured in the closed position by a locldng ring (4) of known design Above this is a plastic articulated clip (9), vertically adjustable along the stand (3). This can be used, if desired, to attach the trolley to either a wheelchair or pair to aid movement.
Positioned on the stand (3) are three gannent hangers (1) 120 apart, one of these is sited at the top and the other two at a lower hi The configuration ensures that hanging gannents do not obstruct each other. These can be locked, by a device of known design, m the horizontal position when in use or collapsed to lie in the vertical position along the stand for stowage A tubular handgrip (2) allows a film grasp to be taken of the trolley to aid mnocuvrability Situated above the handgrip (2) is a hook (8) for customer's coats/jackets.
Figure 2 chows in plan the configuration of the, gannent hangers (10) and the collapsible basket (5). Figure 3 shows in plan the castor (7), mounted base (6), configured for stability.
