Abstract

A gift-wrapping paper, has at least two detachable sections 2 joined at a join concealed by adhesive strips 1, an adhesive tag 3 and precut pre-sized adhesive strips 4. It allows a gift 5 to be wrapped without the need for any other equipment such as a pen, tape or scissors. The required size is chosen and if necessary the paper divided (Fig 3), the gift-wrapped is then sealed using the precut adhesive strips 4 and tagged with adhesive tag 3 which has pre-written message on it. Figure 1 is a front view; Figure 2 a rear view.

Description

CONVENIENT GIFT WRAP This invention relates to wrapping paper the type used for gifts and presents, which includes adhesive accessories such as tag and strips.

Wrapping paper is the well-known medium used for gift-wrapping. However despite its use, it has several drawbacks. The need to size the paper to required size, requiring the use of scissors or a similar device. There is the problem of sealing the gift after wrapping which requires use of tape or string. Also the wrapped gift will need to be assigned a name or message requiring the use of tags and a writing implement. Often these are not at hand, therefore the need to either purchase them or otherwise, is needed.

The object of this invention is to provide a convenient wrapping paper solution, which alleviates the need of any other equipment when wrapping a gift.

An object of this invention is to provide a gift-wrapping paper, which allows desired sizing of paper without need for a cutting device, the use of adhesive accessories complete the task eliminating the need of any other instrument.

Accordingly this invention provides a wrapping paper consisting of two or more concealed detachable sections, an adhesive tag and strips for use with the wrapping paper, the adhesive tag and pre-cut, pre-sized adhesive strips and long adhesive strips should be of the same type and design, in order to co-ordinate.

The wrapping paper may be of any type including metallic, recycled or other.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 shows the front view of the wrapping paper, the long removable adhesive strips, Concealing the detachable sections.

Figure 2 shows the back view of wrapping paper and the portion containing the Adhesive tag and adhesive pre-sized, pre-cut strips Figure 3 is the back view showing a portion of the wrapping being detached for use and the remaining section with the portion containing the tag and precut strips.

Figure 4 shows the wrapping paper, adhesive tag and adhesive pre-sized, pre-cut strips on a wrapped item.

As shown in figure 1 the paper is divided into three parts2 held together on the front side by long adhesive strips 1, allowing, partial or complete division as required, by removal of strip (s) or left complete for larger objects.

The two points of detachment are concealed by the co coordinating long adhesive strip 1 in such a manner as to be as inconspicuous as possible whilst withstanding manipulation, and keeping the aesthetic appearance of the wrapping paper.

Required size is selected as shown in Figure 3 the adhesive pre-sized, pre-cut strips 4 then secure the paper and the adhesive tag 3 is placed as required. The tag 3 is pre printed with appropriate wording for the occasion.

The adhesive tag 3 and adhesive pre-sized, pre-cut strips 4 co-coordinate with the wrapping paper, as do the long removable strips 1 for aesthetic purposes.

The method of wrapping permits any remaining paper 2 and adhesive pre-sized, pre-cut strips 4 to be kept for further use, the long removable adhesive strip 1 once removed, may be used also to seal or decorated if desired. Using the wrapping paper's features, a gift5 may be wrapped completely at any location or time.

Claims

1. A Gift-wrapping paper consisting of two or more concealed detachable sections, an adhesive tag and strips so that a gift may be wrapped where ever or when ever.

2. A Gift-wrapping paper as in claim 1 where the adhesive strips are precut pre-sized and the tag has printed message.

3. A Gift-wrap as in claim 1 and 2 where the detachable sections are concealed by adhesive strips.

4. A Gift-wrap as claimed in any preceding claim where the strips are of same type as wrapping paper and of coordinating colour.

5. A Gift-wrap as claimed in any preceding claim where the paper may be metallic, re cycled, or any other type.
