Abstract

A display for the rear window of a car comprises twelve square elements formed in two rows of six one above the other. Each element is capable of being illuminated so that any letter of the alphabet can be displayed and thereby messages formed. The messages are preset and selected by pressing a button.

Claims (4)

  1. CLAIMS 1. AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE WHICH WHEN ACTIVATED WILL PRODUCE A SERIES OF MESSAGES OF NO MORE THAN 12 LETTERS.
  2. 2. A PLASTIC UNIT CONTAINING TWO ROWS OF SIX SEPERATE BOXES, ONE PLACED ABOVE THE OTHER.
  3. 3. AN ELECTRONIC KEYPAD CONTAINING EACH LETTER OF THE ALPHABET.
  4. 4. THIS UNIT WILL BE SECURED TO THE REAR WINDOW OF ANY PASSENGER VEHICLE TO ALLOW MESSAGES TO BE TRANSMITTED TO OTHER ROAD USERS AS WARNINGS OR HAZARDS.
