Abstract

The tool comprises a handle 2 pivoted on a member for abutting the web of a railway rail, the handle applying force via an intermediate link member 3 to a lever 4 having a roller and a wedge end for forcing the clip away from the rail but still in its anchorage. The link member 3 can then be coupled to the handle 2 at a higher location so that further movement of the handle causes the lever 4 to push the clip from the anchorage.
