Abstract

1520917 Rail clip removing tools PANDROL Ltd 5 Jan 1977 [17 Oct 1975] 42820/75 Heading E1G A hand tool for removing a rail fastening clip from its anchorage in an assembly, Figs. 1-6 (not shown) of the kind disclosed in Specification 1519349 comprises a hand lever 43a pivoted at its lower end to a member 40 for seating against the sleeper, the hand lever carrying (a) a pivoted arm 46 having a wedge 48 which rides along the surface 20 of the clip anchorage and so lifts the clip end 8 above the top projection 25, and (b) a pivoted arm 49 having a clipengagaing projection 51 which subsequently. engages the reverse bend (12) of the clip and so pulls it out of the anchorage passage (21).
