Abstract

A standard Pint drinking glass which is altered by means of, Chemical etching or engraving at the bottom. This enables the bubbles from the beer being drunk to form a complete head on the pint of beer, all the way down the glass. The Pint of beer never runs out of a good head at the top. The etching or engraving may be in the form of a company name.

Description

<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
DESCRIPTION OF W PINT POT This invention relates to a pint glass, which enables beer drunk in it to have a head all the way to the bottom. Not just when the pint of beer is first placed in the standard glass.
Most persons who consume beer do so by drinking it out of a standard pint glass. When the consumer takes the first few sips the head (white frothy part of the beer) is drunk and does not return.
The invention placed before you releases the bubbles that are trapped in the beer this in turn gives a constant head on the beer all the way down the glass.
This is achieved by etching or engraving part of the inside bottom of the glass. This area of etching/engraving causes the bubbles to release causing the desired effect of a constant head on the beer. The etching can be of most sizes but it is foreseen that companies will want their company names placing on the inside bottom of the glass. Or an etching or engraving the size of a 50 pence piece in the bottom of the glass will carry out the same task.
Referring to the drawing shown on FIG1, 1 have shown where the etching should be placed and have noted the etching as ETCHING.

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIMS 1. A pint drinking glass, which has part of the inside bottom of the glass etched. The etching causes the bubbles to be released from the beer being drunk from the glass. Due to the bubbles being released from the beer it gives the pint of beer a head all the way to the bottom of the glass.
