Abstract

237,831. Edwards, W. M. March 3, 1925. Drawings to Specification. Handles.-A tennis racket is provided with a handle which is shallowly recessed by being of slightly reduced diameter for the entire portion of the length gripped by. the hand, the depth of the receee being such that the racket becomes balanced when a readily removable flexible gripfacilitating covering is so applied over the reduced portion of the handle as to bring the gripped surface flush with the remainder of the handle. The covering may consist of a wrapping of tape.
