237,507. Stabile, N. Feb. 2, 1925. Plastic compositions containing ground leather and resin.-A heat and electric insulating-material consists of ground leather preferably 65 per cent, resin preferably 20 per cent, zinc salts, oxide, or carbonate 8 per cent, and inert fillers such as ground stone, sand, &c. 7 per cent. The leather is added to a hot mixture of the other ingredients and the whole is subjected to high pressure in hot moulds.
