Abstract
A conventional alarm clock (1, Fig 3) is fitted with a micro-transmitter (2) which relays the alarm signal to an ear piece 5 provided with a receiver 6, loudspeaker (12, Fig 1), volume control 8 and batteries 7. Preferably, the earplug 5 is moulded with an arm 16 to hold it on the ear. The earplug can have a hinged lid 15. Allows a user to sleep without noise effecting them and to be woken without disturbing others.
