Abstract

A foot support for a ladder which provides the user with greater comfort, balance and safety. The body (fig 2, A1) of the foot support is formed as a single piece. It is inserted between the side rails from the outward face of the ladder, such that the foot support projects inwardly between the ladder and its supporting structure. The body locates onto the rung immediately below (fig 2, A2) while slide guides (fig 2, A3) are provided to locate the body to both side rails of the ladder. Two securing devices (fig 2, A4) are provided on the vertical sides of the body to secure the foot support behind the rear of the ladder side rails.

LADDER STAND EASY DESCRIPTION The STAND EASY is a releasable footplate, which, when located on the ladder, gives the user, comfort, balance, and safety.
The body (A 1) is made in one. located in the body, are two securing devices, (A4).
The body (A 1), slides through the front of the ladder, it locates on the rung of the ladder (A2) then locates on each side of the ladder (A3).
When (A 1) (A2) and (A3) are in position, the two securing devices (A4) secure the body (A 1) to the ladder.
When not in use, the stand easy can be removed, by releasing the securing device (A4). and sliding the body (A 1) OUT FROM THE LADDER, IN SECONDS.

Claims (4)

LADDER STAND EASY CLAIMS
1) The STAND EASY body is made in one, the body being adapted to slide in and out of the ladder front.
2) The body as claimed in claim 1 has two releasing devices. which secure body to ladder rear.
3) The body, as claim 1 and claim 2, has slide guides, which overlap the ladder sides. and secure it to the ladder.
4) The body as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2 and claim 3, has two location points. which locate on rung of ladder.
