Abstract

The child's high chair has a waist belt (8) connected to a vertical center bar (4) which prevents the child from slipping down towards the front. This has curved surfaces (9a, 9b) and fits into a slot (2) in the seat (1), allowing the belt and bar to swivel to assist putting the child into the chair.
