Abstract

A heated armchair cover, main body 1 with heating element 3 running <U>t</U>hroughout. Cords 5 and an undercover flap are used for securing to the armchair to make it possible for this cover to be used on many different types of armchairs. The cover provides heating portions for the back, seating portion and arms of the armchair.

Description

DESCRIPTION HEATED CHAIR COVER This invention relates to a heated armchair cover.
Electric blankets and such are well known but this is a special a type of cover which will be able to be secured to an armchair and heated whilst sat upon. Arms, legs, back etc. will be able to be heated simultaneously. - The heated cover will comprise of a heating element placed between two
pieces of fabric as in fig. l. A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which : Figure 1 shows the heated chair cover plan elevation, listing :1. Heated armchair cover 2. Under seat securing flap 3. Heating element 4. Eyelets 5. Securing cords
Figure 2 illustrates the position the cover would be placed on the armchair, listing :

Claims (3)

1. A heated armchair cover secured in place by means of an undercover flap and cords making it possible to fit most forms of armchairs.
2. A heated armchair cover as claimed in guide 1. is fitted with a heating element running throughout the back, seat, arms and calf area of the cover, allowing for distribution of heat.
3. A heated armchair cover as claimed in guide 1. and 2. would be beneficial to many various medical conditions. Also sports injuries, the elderly, infirm and for personal comfort. Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows I A heated armchair cover comprising portions which in use cover the back, the arms
the seating portion and the front facing section of the armchair, the cover being securable to 1- 1. zn the armchair and having a heating element running throughout the portions.
I ZD 2 A heated armchair cover as in claim 1 wherein the cover consists of a fabric material.
3 A heated armchair cover as in claim 2 wherein the heating element is located between two pieces of fabric.
4 A heated armchair cover as in any preceding claim wherein the cover is secured to the armchair by means of cords passing through eyelets in the cover and a flap which is attached to the cover and which in use locates under the seat cushion of the armchair.
5 A heated armchair cover substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the figures
