Gloves.-A bath glove is formed of two pieces of raw plantation rubber joined at their edges and having on one or both outer surfaces a series of projecting pads which consist of the material of the glove, or of fine sponge rubber, bath towelling, or other soft and indexible material. As shown in Fig. 1, two pieces of raw plantation crepe rubber are placed together so that their edges adhere at the sides 3 and end 4. Pads 8 of sponge rubber or other soft material are secured to the glove by rings 10 of rubber which are pressed on to the outer surface of the glove so that they adhere thereto. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, projections 20 are formed by softening the crepe rubber and pressing it between dies. Either of the forms shown in Figs. 1 and 2 may be embodied in a single glove on the same or opposite faces thereof. The edges of the glove may be provided with a serrated strip 7 secured in position by latex or solution. The glove is finally treated by a vulcanizing process.
