Abstract
A holder for suspending a carrier bag with its mouth open includes a flap 3 for engagement with a part of the mouth of the bag other than its handles to assist in holding the mouth open. The bag handles engage on retaining wings 1 projecting from each end of a generally planar body part having means such as screw holes 2 for attachment to support means. The flap 3 projects out of the plane of that body part. The holder may be a metal pressing or made of other suitable material such as plastic or wood. The retaining wings may be hinged to facilitate flat packing or space saving. There may be a lid, hinged or otherwise, to cover the contents of the open bag.
Description
Shopping Carrier Bag Re-cycler.
This invention relates to a device which will re-cycle or re-use carrier bags in general use from supermarkets or shops.
Waste and pollution generated from the excessive and singular use of the carrier bags is a global problem, and this device will prolong and add to the usefulness and subsequent life of the carrier bags.
According to the present invention there is a metal pressing, formed in such a way that the carrier bag is suspended between two wings, and kept open, enabling the bag to be used for a variety of purposes.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Fig 2. Shows in perspective, firstly the device, showing retaining wings 1. fixing holes 2. bag opening flap 3. The device can be affixed to any suitable surface, i. e. a kitchen cabinet door, a wardrobe door, a bathroom vanity unit door, or a garage workbench or suchlike by means of the screw-holes 2. provided. Secondly a carrier bag is shown in it's suspended position, stretched over the retaining wings 1. being held open by the bag opening flap 3. and the screw fixing holes 2. are clearly visible.
Claims (4)
1. A shopping carrier bag re cycler comprising a metal pressing so shaped and formed that it can be affixed to a suitable surface and that a carrier bag can be suspended from the device the carrier bag will remain open being held in that way by a flap incorporated in the device.
2. A shopping bag re-cycler as claimed in Claim 1 wherin the retaining wings are hinged in order to facilitate flat packaging or space saving.
3. A shopping bag re-cycler as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 wherein the device is manufactured from plastic or wood or other suitable material.
4. A shopping carrier bag re-cycler as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 or Claim 3 wherein a lid, hinged or otherwise is included in order to retain the contents of the carrier bag.
