Abstract

A nutcracker comprises two sections, a top section 1 and a bottom section 2, each section having a handle 7, and an adjustable hinge 6 attached to both sections 1 and 2 at the same end. Sections 1 and 2 have a plurality of different sized cavities (fig 1, 9), cavities of the same circumference being opposite and corresponding to each other, with the cavities (fig 1, 9) on the top section 1 are shallower than the corresponding cavities (fig 1, 9) of the bottom section 2. A safety apron 10 extending from section 1 over section 2 to prevent shells flying out and injuring users. The handle 7 of the bottom section 2 may have grooves 8 to improve a user's grip. The top section 1 may include a nut decoration 4.

DESCRIPTION
ADJUSTABLE SAFETY NUT CRACKER An adjustable safety nut cracker made using any suitable material with cavities in the top and bottom sections each cavity equal in circumference to its opposite cavity to hold the various sized nuts to be cracked the bottom section cavities must be deep enough to hold the nut in position while the top section cavities must be shallower to allow for enough of the nuts body between the sections to be cracked when the two sections are brought together by use of the handles an adjustable hinge attached to the top and bottom sections allows for the various sized nuts to be cracked the safety apron prevents any shells flying out and causing injury to the users person the bottom section handle has grooves for the fingers for a safer firmer grip when the safety nut cracker is in use 2 CLAIMS
1 An adjustable safety nut cracker including two sections a top section and a bottom section made using any suitable material and any suitable adjustable hinge and fixings 2 A safety nut cracker as claimed in 1 with four cavities in the top section and four cavities in the bottom section each cavity equal in circumference to its opposite cavity but of varying depth 3 A nut cracker as claimed in 1 and 2 with a nut design featured on the top section one 4 A nut cracker as claimed in 2 and 3 with an adjustable hinge attached to the top section and to the bottom section of the nut cracker A nut cracker as claimed in 3 and 4 with the safety apron on section one and finger grooves on section 2 6 A nut cracker as claimed in 4 and 5 with a nut hel in the cavities position of section one and two ready to be cracked 7 An adjustable hinge as claimed in any proceeding claim i 1
