Abstract

A device for the disentangling of single or multi-strand textile ribbons conveyed side by side has bars 6,7 rotating at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the ribbons on a circular path. The bars 6 are arranged on a first side of the ribbons, wherein the direction of rotation is opposed to the running direction of the ribbons and a raising of the ribbons occurs with the passage of a bar. The bars 7 are arranged for rotation on a circular path facing and combing the first bars, which second bars endeavour to press down the ribbon material raised by the first bars.

Description

1 2358410 Device for the disentangling of single or multi-strand ribbons
conveyed side by side The invention concerns a device for the disentangling of multi-strand textile ribbons conveyed side by side with first bars rotating at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the ribbons on a circular path, which bars are arranged on a first side of the ribbons, wherein the direction of rotation is opposed to the running direction of the ribbons and a raising of the ribbons occurs with the passage of a bar.
Unravelling or disentangling rollers consisting of two flanges and four or more bars, which bars can be round bars, are familiar in the prior art. These are installed in front of winding machines, plaiting machines, continuous dyeing ranges or finishing machines and are rotated positively against the running direction of the ribbons. The latter are guided over the bars, wherein through the running direction of the rollers twists or tangles that may have formed in the ribbons when fed from containers are removed with the result that the ribbons are conveyed, as desired, evenly and without twists to the subsequent processing unit.
With regard to the prior art described above, a technical problem of the invention is seen in continuing to develop a device of the kind discussed in an advantageous manner.
This aim is initially and essentially achieved by the invention cited in claim 1, in which second bars are arranged for rotation on a circular path facing and combing the first bars, which second bars endeavour to press down the ribbon material raised by the first bars. As a result of this arrangement, a safe and effective disentangling of multi-strand adjacent textile ribbons is 2 provided, thereby ensuring that no twists- or tangles run into subsequent units. According to the invention two bars are provided, wh_ich can be arranged both horizontally and vertically, wherein the first and second bars preferably mesh with each other offset at an angle less than 450. The ribbons are hereby processed on both sides, on the one hand by the first bars, which cause a raising of the ribbon or ribbons, and on the other by the second bars, which in turn endeavour to -3ress down the ribbon material. It is particularly advantageous if the bars are anchored at the ends in flanges. It is also advantageous that the flanges of the first bars are arranged on the other side of the flanges of the second bars. With regard to an optimum disentangling it is an advantage that the first and second bars rotate in opposite directions to each other. To achieve a combing/ meshing of first and second bars, it is envisaged that the circles of rotaticn overlap each other. In addition, it is proposed that the first and second bars rotate at the same speed on the respective circular path. It is particularly advantageous here that the first and second bars combined in the f orm of rollers are coupled to drive. In this respect. the provision can be that the drive coupling is configured as a set of a-ears. The preference here is a development where -the drive coupling is achieved by a transmission belt.
Below, the invention is described in more detail from the attached drawing, which merely represents one embodiment example. Depicted are:
Fig. 1 a plan view of a device according to the invention for the disentangling of multi-strand adjacent textile ribbons in a schematic drawing; 3 Fig. 2 the cross-section in accordance with the line II-II in Fig. 1 with the ribbons being acted upon from below by first bars; Fig. 3 a sequence representation of Fig. 2 with the ribbons being acted upon from above by second bars; Fig. 4 a schematic, perspective representation of the device.
Represented and described initially with reference to Fig. 1 is a device 1 for the disentangling of multistrand adjacent textile ribbons 2. This device 1 has initially below the ribbons 2 a bar roller 3 and above the ribbons 2 a second bar roller 4.
The lower bar roller 3 is composed of two, in outline circular, flanges 5 and bars 6, which are anchored at both sides at the ends in the flanges 5. In the embodiment example represented, four bars 6 arranged at equal distances from each other on a circular path a are envisaged.
Like this first bar roller 3, the second upper bar roller 4 has four bars 7, which are anchored at the ends in flanges 8. The latter have an essentially circular discshaped outline, from which four radial extension arms 9 set at equal angles to each other extend, in which radial extension arms 9 the assigned bars 7 are anchored.
The bars 7 of the upper bar roller 4 also rotate on a circular path b, wherein the diameter of the circular paths a and b are equal.
To cause the ribbons 2 to be acted upon on both sides by the bars 6 and 7, the bars 6 and 7 or rather the bar 4 rollers 3 and 4 are a-rranged in a combing manner to each other. Here it is initially envisaged that the upper bar roller 4, measured at right angles to the direction of passage r of the riblDons 2, is shorter in construction than the bars 6 of thE:.-.1 lower bar roller 3. Accordingly the flanges 5 of the lower bar roller 3 are arranged on the other side of the flanges 8 of the upper bar roller 4 (cf. Fig. 1).
The circular paths a and b of the bars 6 and 7 intersect in the area where the ribbons 2 pass through the device 1. It is in this area that the desired processing of the conveyed ribbons 2 takes place.
The two bar rollers 3 and 4 are initial.-y connected to each other on both sides by means of supports 10. The two bar rollers 3 and 4 a--!-e also coupled to drive in an advantageous manner, for which purpose, as schematically represented in Fig. 2, a transmission belt 11 is provided. The latter drives the bar rollers 3 and 4 in the area of their rotational axes x, y, doing so in directions of rotation that are opposed -L.o each other (see arrows c and d in Fig. 2).
To remove twists or tangles 12 from the ribbons 2, these are guided by the device 1, wherein the direction of rotation c and d of the bar rollers 3 and 4 or rather the bars 6 and 7 is directed counter to the direction of passage r of the ribb(Dns 2.
In the course of the passage through the device 1, the ribbons are raised fi-,,.Dm below by means of the bars 6 of the lower bar roller.3 (see Fig. 2) and, in the course of the continued rotatio.'Ial movement of the two bar rollers 3 and 4, pressed dowr by the bars -7 acting from above onto the ribbons 2 (see Fig. 3). This results in a thorough fulling of the ribbons 2. Tangles and twists are thereby removed in the simplest manner.
All disclosed features are (in themselves) essential to the invention. Fully included in the disclosure of the application are also the contents of disclosure of the relevant/attached priority documents (copy of the previous application), with the additional purpose of incorporating features of these documents in the claims of the present application.
