Abstract

A broom has removably connected to its handle a water spray device comprising a water duct having at one end a hose connector and a valve, at the opposite end a spray jet, and a detergent store.

Description
When cleaning surfaces it isbommon practice to swill, then sweep repetitively covering the same areas.
The purpose of this invention is to carry out this action in one motion which means environmentally friendly, using less water and energy completing the task in less time.
The aqua broom is made from a light, robust plastic material, and the aqua broom slips over any household broom and is then manually tightened by two thumbscrews.
The aqua broom gives the option for cleaning fluid/detergent to be added to the water, the amount used is governed by a regulator valve housed beneath the vessel.

  1. Claims
    The Aqua Broom is attached to any household broom It is firmly fixed by manually tightening two thumb turn bolts The hose pipe is attached to the Aqua Broom by a universal connector located at the end of the unit The operator has the option to use detergent which is stored in a bottle, which is located at the top of the unit which has an air tight screw on cap The user can control the amount of detergent used by a regulator valve
