Abstract

A hand held tool comprises a battery C and a (bi-directional) electric motor B, preferably enclosed within a handle, the drive shaft of the motor B being attached to a propshaft A, the distal end of which connects to a tool attachment, preferably a socket attachment (of the type found in a standard ratchet/socket set), preferbly via a bevelled gearing.
