Abstract

An air filter for a clean room or other air-conditioned chamber prevents leakage of unfiltered air into the clean room. Unfiltered air passes into the housing via spigot 1. Air filtered by filter 4 passes through hole 7 into the clean room. Vent hole 2 vents any air outside the filter 4 to an area outside the clean room. The housing has a top plate 3, which presses on the top of the filter frame 4, sides 5 and a bottom plate 6. By detaching the top or bottom plate, the filter can be changed from either side of the housing.

1 CLAIM
I. A filter housing that prevents any air flow that bypasses the filter from entering the conditioned chamber or room.
2 A filter housing that allows any air that bypasses the filter to flow into an area other than the conditioned chamber or room. 3 A filter housing where by detaching the top or bottom the filter can be changed from either side of the housing.
