1426397 Air filters R A ELDER 27 June 1973 30687/73 Heading BIT An apparatus for filtering air, e.g. entering a room, comprises an outer chamber 20, a plenum chamber 23 downstream (or upstream, not shown) of a filter 15, seals 21 and 24 and a fan 11 upstream (or downstream, not shown) of the filter 15. The plenum chamber may contain a prefilter (Fig. 4, not shown).
