Abstract

Eyeglasses eg. sunglasses have attachments added which from the outside show an image or colour thus giving them a fashion/promotion status. The attachments 2. may be mesh type in construction and are either metal or plastics. The type of construction allows the wearer virtually the same vision as a clear lens.

2353102 Image Lens Eyeglasses Eyeglasses, specifically, spectacles and
sunglasses are items worn either to protect and give comfort to the eyes from sunlight, or to aid a person with impaired eyesight, improved vision. In the main, they are just tinted or clear glass or plastic to look through and to be seen wearing. With regard to spectacles, most people, especially children do not like to wear them. If they could be turned into a fashion item, this could make things easier for them.
According to the present invention, there is provied image lens eyeglasses, comprising attachments made of either metal or plastic which adered to the outside of the lens. These attachments can have images, colours etc on them but due to the way the attachments are constructed, the wearer as virtually the same vision as a clear lens.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of an example with referance to the accompanying drawings in which:- Figure I Shows in perspective, eyeglasses with image attachments on lens.
Figure 2 Shows magnification of the surface of one of the image attachments.
Refering to the drawings, the eyeglasses are fitted with attachments which are mesh type in construction. The attachments are made of metal or plastic or something similar.
The attachments have an image, colours etc, put onto them, before the are fitted on the lens.
Due to the type of construction of the attachment, the wearer of the eyeglasses, will have virtually the same vision as looking through a clear lens but from the outside, all anyone will see, will be an image, colour etc.

Claims
1. image lens eyeglasses comprising attachments to the lens which give the wearer virtually the same vision as a clear lens whilst when seen from the outside, there is just a image, colour, etc.
2. Image lens eyeglasses as claimed in claim I where attachments that are mesh type in construction and are either metal, plastic etc. are adered to the outside of the sunglasses, spectacles, etc.
