Abstract

A bottle carrier has a horse shoe shape enabling it to be clipped to the neck of a bottle and is provided with holes to which either a carrying string or a plastic or metal clip, e.g. to enable the carrier to be fastened to a belt, may be attached. Preferably the carrier is formed as a single piece from moulded semi-flexible plastic. Promotional messages, symbols or logos may be printed on the carrier or formed on the carrier surface during moulding.

Bottle Carrier-Clip: Description
This invention is a device to make drinks bottles more easily portable.
Drinks such as beer, cola, fruit carbonates and water are frequently sold in singleservice glass or plastic bottles for consumption both in and out of home. In out of home situations (such as sports events, concerts, or simply out on the street) such bottles can be awkward and inconvenient to carry about.
The present invenfion is a horseshoe--shaped semi-flexible plastic device which clips onto the necks of drinks bottles. The device has holes through which either string may be passed and tied (enabling the bottle to be carried round the neck, for example) or else a metal or plastic clip-fastener may be attached (enabling the bottle to be suspended from a belt, for example).
The enclosed drawings illustrate the shape and relative dimensions of the device.
The device can be produced in a range of sizes to fit different sizes and shapes of bottles. The dimensions on the enclosed drawings are for a device which fits the plastic bottles in most common use by UK soft drinks manufacturers at the time of this application.
The device is to be manufactured from a mould using a robust semiflexible plastic material.

  1. Bottle Carrier-Clip:Claims
    I. A horseshoe-shaped plastic device with holes (for string to be passed through or a clip-fastener to be attached) which clips securely onto the necks of drinks bottles to facilitate their portability
  2. 2. As claimed in Claim 1 with the addition of the printing or moulding of promotional messages, symbols, logotypes or suchlike
  3. 3. As claimed in Claim I or Claim 2 with the addition of an integral string
  4. 4. As claimed in Claim I or Claim 2 with the addition of an integral clip- fastener
