Description

Description: Title The ability to use electronic keyboards/pads in light deficient environments- Current Situation: Currently portable electronic deuces, n-llicll have some from of kesboard/kel pad, used for inputting information and a screen for displaying information E. g.
Laptops.
Notebooks, Palmtops.
Hand-held computers that close like laptops And handheld electronic computers/devices are unable to be used in areas where natural or artificial light is at a premium or nonexistent as the light from the screen is inadequate to allow the user to see the keys and hence the characters on the keyboard or keypad.
Invention This invention allows the use of equipment that uses any po ver supply be it batten operated or ran from the electrical supply which uses a keyboard/pad be it numeric and/or alphabetic and/or punctuational and/or any other type.
To be used in areas where natural light or artificial light is at a premium or non existent The manner in which this is done is outlined in the next : Details To make keys on a keyboard/pad from an illuminate coating and the actual characters from another but diJ'ferert coloured illuminating material so that light from the screen will allow the user to see the characters/kevs Such devices could be but is not limited : -Laptops -Notebooks -Palm tops -Hand held devices that close like the above devices.
-Hand held computers/devices that have keys.
The illuminate keys/characters can be made in the following n an The key itself can be made from the illuminate coating with the actual alphabetic, numeric or punctuation character (s) made from an illuminate material, which is different in colour to the material that the kev is made from.
In cases where there are multiple characters on a single key then each character will be individually made from the same or different coloured illuminate material.
In reference to Diagram 1 Detailed example : In the below examples (diagram 1) the key which is the blute area is made from an illuminate material and the character (s) on the key is/are made from a material that is illuminating but different in colour to the illuminate material used for the key. The illuminating material of the characters can be of the same or different colour.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims This invention of using keys made from or coated xzith an illuminate material and the characters on the keys to be made from a different coloured illuminate material on a keypad/keyboard will allow the use of Laptops.
Notebooks, Palm-tops, Hand-held computers that close like laptops and Hand-held electronic devices/computers in light deficient areas more effecti el as described in the description section.
