Abstract

A spiral oil lamp or spiral oil candle comprising of a spiral tubular coil vessel 11 and a burner 12. The spiral tubular coil vessel provides support for the burner. The level of fuel in the spiral tubular coil vessel could be used as a visual time clock. The open end of the vessel not used to support the burner can be used as an oil filing inlet or as a breather hole.

Description

Dal vesselfor an oil lamp or oil candle Technical field : This invention is related to the oil vessel for an oil lamp or oil candle.
Background : An oil lamp or oil candle comprising of an oil vessel and a burner which is attached to a wick that draws oil from the oil vessel.
Normally the oil vessel is made of a moulded or blown glass or a metal container.
Essential technical features : According to the present invention there is provided a spiral tubular coil as the oil storage vessel for the oil lamp or oil candle. The shape of the spiral could be circular or any other geometric shapes. The spiral tubular coil sits vertically on a level flopr and forms the main supporting structure of the oil lamp or oil candle.
The spiral tubular coil oil vessel has two ends, one of which is threaded through the centre of the spiral tubular coil and used as the burner support, the other end provided as the oil breather hole or oil filling inlet of the vessel.
The two ends of the spiral tubular coil could also be arranged through the side of the spiral coil.
The oil level in the spiral tubular coil could be used as a visual time clock.
Example : A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which : Figure I shows in perspective, the spiral tubular coil oil lamp or oil candle which has a burner support through the centre of the spiral coil.
Figure 2 illustrates the drawing of the spiral tubular coil oil vessel.
Figure 3 shows the burner assembly for the oil lamp or oil candle.
Figure 4 illustrates the first angle projection of the spiral tubular coil oil vessel for the oil lamp or oil candle.
Figure 5 shows the third angle projection of the spiral tubular coil oil vessel for the oil lamp or oil candle.
Figure 6 shows the spiral tubular coil oil ves$el whose ends are arranged through the side of the coil and the ends serve as burners support. Referring to the drawing the spiral tubular coil oil lamp or oil candle 10, comprising of an spiral tubular coil oil vessel 11 and the burner assembly 12.
13 and 14 are the burners support for the spiral tubular coil oil vessel whose ends are arranged through the side of the coil.

Claims (12)

  1. Claims 1 A spiral oil lamp or spiral oil candle comprising of a spiral tubular coil vessel and a burner.
  2. 2 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claim 1 is constructed from a spiral tubular coil which has two ends, one of which is threaded through the centre axis of the spiral coil to form a centre return tube, the two ends terminate at about the same height, so as to form the spiral tubular coil vessel.
  3. 3 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claim 2 provides the fuel storage for the spiral oil lamp or oil candle.
  4. 4 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claims 2 and 3 provides the burner support, the fuel breather hole, refuelling inlet and forins the main structure of the spiral oil lamp or oil candle.
  5. 5 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claims 2, 3 and 4 rest vertically to a level plane.
  6. 6 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claim 2 where the centre return tube could be supporting more than one burner.
  7. 7 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in claim 2 where the centre return tube could be of any shape or design.
  8. 8 A spiral tubular coil vessel as claimed in any preceding and proceeding claim where the shape of the spiral coil could be circular, triangular, square, rectangular or any other geometric shape or design.
  9. 9 A spiral oil lamp or oil candle as claimed in claim 1 where the spiral tubular coil vessel could have additional base support which increases it's stability.
  10. 10 A spiral oil vessel as in claimed 2 where the two ends of the tubular spiral coil could be arranged through the side of the spiral coil.
  11. 11 A burner as claimed in claim 1 comprising of a wick and a wicker holder.
  12. 12 A spiral oil lamp or spiral oil candle as claimed in claim 1 where the fuel level in the spiral tubular coil could be used as a visual time clock.
